Booking Conditions for Mental Health and First Aid Training Courses.

1. Course Fees and Payment Terms
-
An initial deposit of 50% is required to secure your booking.

Remainder of balance to be made before training starts, an account can be applied for subject to approval upto a maximum of 30 days.

All prices are listed in AUD$ plus GST (Goods and Services Tax).

Early bird rates (for community courses) apply for bookings made by the date advertised. Standard rates apply after that date.

Discounted rates may be available for group bookings or non-profit organisations. Don't hesitate to get in touch with us for details.
2. Cancellations and Refunds
-
Cancellations made 30 days or more before the course start date will receive a full refund minus a small admin fee *unless online training is activated see below.

Cancellations made between 14-29 days before the course start date are eligible for a 50% refund.

Cancellations made less than 14 days before the course start date are non-refundable.

Online & blended training once an online voucher is activated there will be a cost of $125 PP (Non-refundable). Anowara Training will always confirm participants' email and their attendance before issuing the online component. In most instances, we can transfer the participant to another course if requested.

No refunds will be provided for no-shows or partial attendance.

If the course is cancelled by Anowara Training, a full refund will be issued, or participants can opt to transfer their registration to a future course at no additional cost.

3. Transfers and Substitutions

Transfers to another course date are allowed if a request is made at least 14 days before the course start date, subject to availability.

Participant substitutions are permitted for face-to-face training courses at no extra charge if Anowara Training is notified at least 3 business days before the course *this does not apply to online or blended courses.

4. Course Confirmation
-
A minimum number of participants is required to conduct the course (normally 6). If the minimum enrolment is not met, Anowara Training reserves the right to reschedule or cancel the course.

Participants will be notified of confirmation or cancellation no later than 7 days before the scheduled start date.

5. Travel and Accommodation
-
Participants are responsible for their own travel and accommodation arrangements. Anowara Training is not liable for any costs incurred for travel, accommodation, or other related expenses.

We recommend that participants confirm course details prior to booking any non-refundable travel or accommodation arrangements.

If Anowara Training is sending trainers to a client all travel and accommodation will be agreed on a case-by-case basis *terms apply.

6. Course Materials and Certification
-
All course materials, including manuals and supplementary resources, will be provided either electronically or in printed form.

Upon successful completion of the training, participants will receive an appropriate certificate (course dependant) these are valid for 1 to 3 years. The certificate can be one of attendance or completion of nationally recognised training, providing all requirements are met. 7. Health and Safety Requirements

Participants must comply with any health and safety protocols set by the venue or Anowara Training.

A brief will be made at the start of each course and participants allowed to ask questions and demonstrate a full understanding of WHS requirements on the day.

8. Well-Being and Support
-
Anowara Training is committed to creating a safe and supportive learning environment. Participants are encouraged to reach out to the facilitator for any mental health support during the course.

Participants should be aware that the course may touch on sensitive topics, including mental illness, emergency situations, trauma, and suicide prevention.

9. Liability
-
Anowara Training will not be held liable for any personal injury, damage, or loss of property during the course.

Anowara Training is not liable for any emotional distress or psychological impact experienced during or after the course. Support and resources will be made available to assist participants.

10. Changes to Course Content
-
Anowara Training reserves the right to make changes to the course content, schedule, and instructors without prior notice, provided these changes do not significantly alter the learning outcomes or objectives of the course. We will always endeavor to notify clients of changes.
11. Acceptance of Terms
-
By registering for the course, participants agree to abide by these booking conditions and acknowledge the sensitive nature of the content covered.
